Susan E. Gallagher, Editor/Producer, is Associate Professor of Political Science at the University of Massachusetts Lowell.  Her publications include The Rule of the Rich? Adam Smith's Argument Against Political Power (Penn State Press, 1998), as well as various essays and presentations on the right to privacy and other topics in the history of political thought.  Many of Gallagher's formal and informal contributions to digital humanities scholarship can be accessed on her faculty web page, Gender, Media, Politics, History, and Law.

Judith Wagner DeCew, Advisory Editor, is Professor and Chair of Philosophy at Clark University. Her publications include In Pursuit of Privacy: Law, Ethics, and the Rise of Technology (Cornell University Press, 1997); Unionization in the Academy: Visions and Realities, Rowman and Littlefield Publishers, Inc., in the series entitled "Issues in Academic Ethics," Steven Cahn (philosophy, CUNY Graduate Center), general editor, cloth and paperback, April 2003; as well as numerous articles on ethics and privacy.

William G. Staples, Advisory Editor, is Professor and Chair of Sociology at the University of Kansas.  His publications include Encyclopedia of Privacy (Volumes 1-2). Westport, CT: Greenwood Publishers, 2007. CHOICE 2007 Outstanding Academic Title.  Power, Profits, and Patriarchy: The Social Organization of Work at a British Metal Trades Firm, 1791-1922 (with Clifford L.
